Policies/Terms/Conditions
Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc. values our clients and appreciates your business. For both the protection of our clients and our company please read the following Policies, Terms and Conditions.

Payment/Fee's/Rescheduling/Our Cleaning Promise Policy
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Superior gladly accepts the following forms of payment: Cash, Personal or Company check or Money Order. Please make checks out to Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc. If you use a company check please indicate the clients name for whom it for.
There is a $10.00 fee (minimum) if you neglect to leave payment at time of service. If 7 days have passed and we still have not received payment there is a $25.00 fee. Please have payment at time of service to avoid any problems. A $5.00 additional charge may apply to computer checks sent by mail after service is completed.
There is a $35.00 fee in addition to the amount of the original check payable to us for any check returned by your bank.

There is a $40.00 late cancellation / lock out fee for canceling or rescheduling a cleaning the day of the scheduled visit. The same fee applies if we are unable to gain access to your home, through no fault of ours. (Lock-out, forgot to leave key, etc.) If rescheduling a cleaning visit, please give us at least a 48-hour notice of any schedule changes. We work hard to make sure your account has a reserved time slot on a specific day for cleaning. Please keep in mind the regular schedules of our cleaners and that there pay is based on the number of jobs that they do, so cancellation boils down to less work for them. So we must charge this fee for any last minute notices, cancellations at the door and lockouts.
Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc. works hard to provide accurate quotes for service to all of our housecleaning clients based on our current hourly rate. We work with our client’s budgets and put together a cleaning program to accomplish their goals. During the course of our relationship cleaning duties may change and increase to more than what your original cleaning quote was for. Also minimum wage, gas insurance and other expenses usually increase on a yearly basis thus your cleaning service price is subject to an increase yearly.
Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we do not offer refunds. If you are dissatisfied with our cleaning, please let us know and we will make every effort to meet your expectations. Please refer to our Cleaning Promise Policy.
Any accounts which go past due for over 30 days may be refered to a collection company and or a attorney for the balance due. Any and all fee's will be charged to you in collecting this balance.

Employment Referral
You are legally responsible for an employment referral fee of $1,500.00 per employee, should you immediately employ anyone currently employed by Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc., or who has been employed by us within the 1 year period prior to such employment. We don't expect this to ever happen but as a business we must protect ourselves. Are employees are our companies biggest asset. We hope that we never have to lose one under this situation. You agree to pay this fee whether you notify us of your action or we discover this employment autonomously at any time after it takes place. The client further agrees to reimburse us for any collection and legal fees we incur in collecting the employment referral fee.

Privacy Policy
We do not share the information gathered through this web site or any personel information with any other 3rd party without your express consent. The guestbook signing is a exception which is done at your consent. All payment information entered through our accounting web site is done so through a secure server with SSL encryption.

Access/Arrival Notice/Employee Safety/BLEACH
ACCESS:
Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc. arranges with you a safe and convenient location to leave your key. If you have a alarm system at your home, if you can leave your alarm system off the day of your scheduled cleaning, great. If you are not comfortable doing that, if the alarm system is simple to operate you can leave instructions with the Superior Hosekeeping office. Some of our customers prefer to leave a side or rear door open for us. Upon your confirmation call the night before please give us the details for service access. We perfer NOT to be given a key to your home for service access. If you like we can have a secured lock box installed at our expense to put your key in safely.
ARRIVAL NOTICE:
If you wish to wait for your service provider to give them access to your home, we cannot guarantee an exact time that they will arrive. Superior Housekeeping will provide you with an arrival window of 4 hours e.g., 8am-12pm, etc. But in most cases we will arrive within the hour.
EMPLOYEE SAFETY:
We care about our employees and are very serious about their safety, our employees are instucted not to lift anything over 35 pounds or climb ladders higher than 2 steps. The exception is if other arrangements have been made with our office to accommodate your special service needs.
BLEACH:
What NOT to use for cleaning!
It's not intended for that use. Bleach contains no soap or detergent. It only makes things look cleaner by bleaching away the color from dirt and stains. Bleach is a strong, caustic oxidizer that will damage many surfaces, including wood, paint, finished surfaces, no-wax floors, and leather. It dulls shiny surfaces such as ceramic tile. It has an unpleasant smell, irritates nasal passages and eyes, burns skin, will ruin your clothes if splashed or dripped, and will ruin your carpet if spilled. For these reasons, Superior Housekeeping will not bring bleach or any products with bleach into your home to use as a cleaning agent, if you request us to use bleach or a specific product with bleach in it, to clean a specific problem in your home, we will not be responsible for any damage caused by the bleach. If you do have bleach products in your home, please keep all bleach products you do have out of reach of Superior employees. All employees are thoroughly instructed about bleach and it’s damaging effect. Please discuss this bleaching policy with your service provider so both parties are clear on the seriousness of bleach.

Our Promise
We want you to feel good about and be happy with the services that Superior Housekeeping Service, Inc. provides you with. If you are not completely satisfied with your cleaning and you notify our office within 24 hours of receiving services we will return to your home or office and re-clean the area or areas that you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.
